Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure cloud architectures across hybrid and multi-cloud environments to support business and technology initiatives.
- Develop cloud strategies and solution designs that align with business objectives, operational requirements, and security best practices.
- Build and automate cloud infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
- Plan, support, and execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including workload migration, infrastructure optimization, and performance improvements.
- Monitor and optimize cloud environments to enhance security, scalability, availability, operational efficiency, and cost management.
- Design and implement cloud security controls, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and cloud-native security services.
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud security solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, and other cloud-native security platforms.
- Perform cloud security assessments, vulnerability reviews, risk assessments, and recommend remediation measures to strengthen the organization's security posture.
- Develop, implement, and maintain cloud governance frameworks, security policies, standards, and compliance controls in accordance with industry and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Application Development, and Cyber Security teams to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions.
- Support security incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, security threats, and industry best practices, driving continuous improvement across the cloud environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or cloud security roles.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or hybrid cloud environments.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform, ARM templates, Ansible, or equivalent automation tools.
- Solid understanding of:
- Cloud networking and architecture
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Zero Trust security principles
- Cloud security architecture and best practices
- Experience implementing cloud governance, security controls, and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-native security solutions such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, AWS GuardDuty, or equivalent security platforms.
- Knowledge of industry security frameworks and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), CIS Benchmarks, and MAS Technology Risk Management (TRM) Guidelines.
- Experience supporting cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and DevSecOps initiatives is good to have.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
